Ladies I need a little help here...so I was on the depo shot for 7 years and I always stood at 100 pounds when me and my husband met I got comfortable and went up to 120 lbs, when I got pregnant I weighed 134 and when I had him I was at 155 lbs. Well after I had my amazing little man I went back down to 124 lbs. I am now back on the depo shot and I'm starting to gain weight, meals that I would never finish before I can finish now and not feel completely stuffed.....I'm already feeling depressed about my body and now I'm even more depressed that I'm gaining weight :( I honestly don't know what to do......

just go back to smaller portions, after about a week your body will start to adjust and eventually you won't be able to eat a lot anymore. you just have to get your stomach to shrink back down.
that's the thing I crave chocolate and junk food as if I was pregnant...but I wasn't even like that when I was. and when I weighed 100 lbs I didn't look like a skeleton it was evenly distributed I loved my body then, now I just feel gross...I noticed it in my face today and I just wanted to break down
Birth control itself doesn't make you gain weight, it's your hormones. You may have to watch what you eat & exercise. I still think your beautiful & looking like a skeleton isn't pretty, I know because I am one lol
ya I'm going on 3 weeks spotting...I feel bad for my husband because I think it's gross to have sex while it's happening lol I just want to be normal again :'(
ohh I know that feeling. when I was on implanon I bled for month and a half and I gained like 50 pounds.. never again will I ever get on birth control lol. if I do it will be that punk ass pill 😂😂😂 @natasha163
that's what I want to do but it doesn't wear off til may :( and I'm going on vacation at the end of march and I don't want to feel like a fat cow @serenity515

It's crazy when I see people say they didn't gain any weight on the Depo shot and when I was on it, I gained so much 😞
Omg I'm not kidding the depo shot really has made me gain weight I'm not happyyyyy!!!!!
So I have question I'm 23 weeks and I thought a 9 lbs weight gain was good but now I'm re thinking it what is normal at this stage is it to much I'm stressing out I am really watching what I eat and I really don't over eat sad mommy here 😔

Ok so my sister whos normally fairly skinny has been asking to get on the depo shot with her her son is 6months and she wants to switch off her bc and get back on the depo shot since it made her loose weigh before. But me im on the fluffier side and wanted to know how the depo shot affected ppl who arent suoer skinny to begin with. Did it make them gain weight or have anxeity/depression issues?
I feel sad about how much weight I've gained. at my first appointment I was 104 lbs and now 9 months pregnant I'm only 120 lbs. I feel like i didn't gain enough ): but I eat..I'm just small built..I hope that's why /; I feel bad like my baby is gonna be too small..): anyone else going through this or did before?
