Mamas, I need sleep help! Here's Dove's routine (since she was about 7 weeks old): Asleep by 8:30, wakes up at 1am to eat, then at 3am and then up for the day at 5:30. I don't mind her waking up so early but I'd like to skip the 3am feed. Is it possible?? She's 11 weeks old today and pretty behind on weight gain so I'm not sure I should even push it.

@ananasbaby, usually 30 mins to an hour before that.

what time does she eat before she goes to sleep at 8.30? because it does seem to me that 8.30- 1 is quite long of she comes again 2 hours after at 3 pm.

@mrsstewart, yep. She won't start any solids until 6 months at the earliest. She had a bad salmonella infection at 18 days old and was hospitalized for 2 weeks. She's had a lot of GI issues since then, so her dr is very cautious about starting foods, even cereal. I wish I could, tho!

@irenevega, that's kinda what I'm thinking, too.

I wouldn't push it If she's not gaining as much weight as she should be

Have you talked to her Dr. about a little cereal? Some recommend it if they're behind on weight because it helps them gain a little... I put my daughter on rice cereal when she was 2 and half months at night just so she wouldn't feel so empty when she woke up in the morning. But it cam also help their tummies stay full longer.
