so I had my son circumsized today... and before I put him to bed I tried to take the gauze off and it was stuck... I have drenched it with Luke warm water and loaded it down with vaseline... and it still won't come off.
HOW DO I GET IT OFF?

@ritamae, it's alright contact ur pediatrician. with mine their doctor took it off but it's been 2 years since I've had my boy and things are always changing. sorry if I scared u.

sorry got a little panicked don't mean to come off rude.....their doctor always took it off after about a week that needs to heal.
if that was just done today DO NOT take it off.....the pediatrician will. I have 2 sons both circumsized. that gauze stays on and you have to put cream on it i used A&D. Did they not tell you this?
Gently peel? I can't remember ever having it stick to my first born's incision, and for my second the doctor recommended against using gauze pads...
Good good. Maybe add more vasoline next time? Glad to hear you were able to get it off.
