False positives are rare but can happen.

why don't she got to get doctor and ask for a ultasound

There are certain drugs that emit HCG into your body which is the chemical that pregnancy produces. There have been a few cases of false positives. & some have been some serious cases. Such as ovarian cysts or cancer. Which is how we were able to find out my sister had Ovarian Cyst.

I miscarried my twins at 8 weeks. Absolutely no blood or pain, not until after my D&C. Sometimes it just happens.

@wannabmommy, this is why I don't like hospital. Nothing can cause a false positive as I said before it's very rare. False negative is common. She still can be pregnant but just stretching early. Calm down and wait a week to test again her hcg level should increase during her waiting period. I had a faint positive on 5 test at 3 weeks pregnant and my hcg level was 1700 now I'm 20 weeks pregnant and tired lol. Just wait a week and test again and if it's positive go see a doctor and be positive :)

u can miscarry without any blood, it's called a missed miscarriage. praying thats not the case

My sister tested negative at the hospital and she was around 3 weeks so it could just not be showing up

of course :) on the negative side though, even if she hasn't bled yet, she could still have miscarried, and not passed the baby yet. But hopefully it's just that it didn't show up on their test! I would advise her to ask for a quantitative blood test to see what her hcg levels are.

There's really no such thing as a false positive, only false negative because the hpt test for hcg which u will not have unless u are pregnant I would just test again here in a week.

i have a question she was admittes tot he hospital recently they gave her a small dosage of morphine. can that cause false possitive.. because she didn't bleed it wasn't a miscarriage @cookiemonster1216. @chunkymonkey9115 @deafmama16. @rose.lureen @mommyrai

I had already had a vvfl and the hospital told me my blood test was negative. 38wks later... baby was born!

@wannabmommy, perhap God had another plan for her :) lets just wait a week before testing again before we get all sad and disappointed :)

Sometime hospital don't know what they're talking about but did she test again? Maybe it was too early to show up on their test. Cramping is normal in early pregnancy as long it's not Intense and with red blood.
