I'm getting induced tom at 4:30 am. I'm super nervous and excited . has anyone else been induced ? how is it? it's not what I wanted but the doctor is requesting it .

It's not bad . You should make sure you eat tonight as they wont let you eat before they do it . They will give you meds to start your labor , they will wait until your about 3-4 cm to administer an epidural if you want one & then check to see if you dilate to 10cm , if you do and your water doesn't break on its own , they break it and shortly there after they will have you start to push . Boom ! It's so quick depending on how fast you dilate . My son was born 2 hours after I was induced . I only had to push 3 times & there he was. Good luck :)

I'm getting induced tomorrow night! I'm scared bc ive wasnt induced with my other 2. Im not sure what to expect, but im excited I get to meet my son Thursday.
they say getting induced makes the contractions harder but that wasn't my experience... myinsuction was smooth sailing
