And also to make it more liquid until he gets used to it and gradually add more scoops
My doctor told me to put it in his bottle until he gets used to it because it easier to drink then to use a spoon and when he's 5 months to try it in a bowl
do you ladies do it in a bottle or bowl and do you make it more liquidy or just follow the directions on the box?
I use the same as @ivansmommy15 and yesterday I got the same brand but apple and banana flavor and she loves it!.. I started her on cereal at 2 1/2 months and her Dr. didn't have anything to say about it she will be 7 months on Sunday. You do what you want to do with your baby and don't let anyone tell you how to do it.
I had to start my son earlier due to him not getting enough to fill his stomach up, I'd ask the doctor first, and if you feel like your little needs a bit more then single grain is the way to go but ease them into it
My daughter started the gerber cereal at 3 months at 14 weeks we started to mix it with baby applesauce she loved it lol she eats baby food rice cereal and oatmeal now at 18 weeks
That's the bottle I was going to buy thank you 😊 @ivansmommy15
I personally wouldn't. AAP and WHO recommend no solids until 6 months. Their gut isn't developed enough. Most pediatricias are not up to date on infant nutrician. Grains are not recommended until 9 to 10 months because babies lack the enzymes to properly digest it. It's full of empty calories and arsenic.
