This post is for all first time pregnant mommies!!
I just went through the whole birth experience 2 weeks ago with my daughter. I just wanted to tell you guys it's not what everyone makes it out to be. Don't listen to their horrible stories about how painful and horrible it is. It's honestly amazing!! Is it hard? YES! That's why it's called labor!!! Does it hurt? Honestly, it's more of a irritating 'get this baby out of me' feeling. It hurts but not like a pain you've felt before it's a interesting pain. But is it worth it? Absolutely!! This is coming from someone who did it 100% all natural even with complications with my baby's heart (her heart beat went from around 157 to 43 almost every contraction). Don't listen to all the horror stories of labor, just remember that you were lucky enough to he picked to have this baby!! Once your baby is in your arms for the first time you'll understand! I just wanted to write this because I didn't listen to people and I realized after that a lot of the pain can be in your head. Distract yourself and it goes by so much easier! And BREATHE! Breathing exercises makes a whole world of difference! Goodluck to all the soon to be mommies 😘
and it is still considered a natural birth even with the epidural if you remain conscious, deliver vaginally, and can assist with delivery.
btw :)
my sons now 5 months but I had back labor and it was not a get this baby out of me annoying feeling it was like someone was taking a hammer to my back :'( I had no stomach pain no vaginal pain but my back felt like it was breaking! I had a natural birth with an epidural but got the epidural at 9cm cause I TRIED to not get the epidural but ended up having a natural birth with an epidural because I couldn't push I was exhausted and my back was killing me :/ I pray with this baby I don't have back labor and feel my contractions this time in my tummy :/
@camryn211, it's not natural birth if you are getting an epidural. you're simply having a vaginal delivery. not a natural delivery since you are receiving pain meds
I'm about to go through it Friday or next week natural birth with an epidural and family keep telling me stories about it and they don't think I can handle the pain but if I get an c section it's going to be the same so hey what the difference. I think I can do it but im too scared
@jlowe000, & @camryn211 I so agree I had three all natural and trust I was scared having my first kid but then after the second the breathing techniques really do help
@hernandezmommy, don't be ashamed!! Everyone is different!!😊 my sister and mom were In the room and after they told me they were mad because I made it look like a piece of cake 😂 I had a simple labor so that could be why I didn't get the epidural 😊idk how I made it look easy though since it felt like I was dying 😂😂 you can do it this next one! Go In with a positive mind and you got it(:
