I love the fact that I'm able to breastfeed my son because some people can't but my nipples are so raw and they hurt so much. I don't know what else to do.

@meagansimone yes he's been checked. and he has a good latch. I think it's just because I'm not fully used to it yet
Breastfeeding shouldn't hurt. Has he been checked for ties? Could it be a bad latch?
how many weeks have you been breastfeeding? first week and a few days it hurts and cracks but then the nipple starts getting used to it annd toughens up then the pain and cracking will stop. meanwhile use a nipple butter. i like burts bees or any other nipple butter is good. also going without bra for sleep and rest of the day of you can, helps heal them faster.
have you tried rubbing your breast milk on your nipples after and or before feedings? there's some cream you can buy also

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. Try air drying with milk on your nipples, it'll help. Let them air out as much as possible
