@b80nandrewsma well before I was pregnant that's how my periods were when I took nothing. Reason why I decided to do birth control to calm it down &d it did but then I started to have seizures

my experience with iud was horrible i was in constant pain and had heavy periods that were terrible. and got multiple cysts on my ovaries.

my nephews wife also had a horrible experience with iud she ended up having to have a complete hysterectomy due to it embedding into her uterus.

I did gain some weight but I'm talking 20 pounds over 5 years so it was gradual. I also had an extremely light (used panty liners) 3 day period the whole time.

@b80nandrewsma ohh OK... I am so against birth control cause of past problems but the iud seems like the most safe one.

Everyone is different there are some women that don't get any kind of period but with me it made my periods really bad

@shanellsangel, I didn't kno that I stayed really bloated so I had to remove mine

@babie_2016 isint that the point of the iud... to not have your period?!

I got Mirena and had NO issues but I waited 3 months after my daughter was born to have it put in.

I didn't like it. too many back problems never got my period
