I really want to start eating healthier but have no idea where to start, I don't eat too often because I'm never hungry but I know I need to to get rid of this baby weight. Any suggestions?

Ask your doctor first about this: If you want to increase your metabolism, eat 1/2 size meals. It will increase your appetite, burn calories faster, and make your stomach smaller so you will lose some belly weight. One easy technique: make sure at least once a day one fourth of your plate has something dark green (sautéed spinach, lettuce, peas, zucchini, green beans, or asparagus). One fourth of plate can be (complex) carbs such as yams, whole grain pasta, brown rice (risotto), Wasa crackers, quinoa, whole grain pizza, corn tortillas, buckwheat or whole grain waffles! Your plate also needs lean protein plus plant fats (vegetable or olive oil). Some delicious & nutritious proteins are (garbanzo bean) hummus, white bean hummus, tahini (sesame seed paste)+lemon juice, black beans, red beans, fava beans, nuts & nut butters, cheeses, milks, yogurts, eggs, and meats.
