the bleeding out is in extreme cases here mom tries to deliver vaginally.... I was told if I felt any contractions or had any bleeding to "get my pregnant self to the hospital" those were my Dr's words... I was in once for false labor and then had bleeding and my son was delivered due to fetal distress.... I was never put on bed rest

how it was told to me, I have completed placenta previa and was told no sex until my next ultrasounds which is 6 weeks away, no sex for 6 weeks will be extremely difficult but I'll manage, she didn't say anything to me about bleeding out or anything like that, she informed me that it's possible if it doesn't move that I'll be having a C-section which I already knew but I'm so scared if what can happen.@ashleidhanyielle04282016, @sarahdrew

in extreme cases yes you could bleed out, delivering the placenta first isn't a good thing

the upside is you're very close to being 25 weeks which is not ideal for a baby to be born BUT a good chance of survival if at the right NICU hospital. my nephew was born at 24 weeks and is a wonderful little boy who was a previa survivor ♡

I had a complete placenta previa with my first pregnancy.... it was explained to me that my placenta was completely covering my cervix.... I was told no sex and that I had to have a c-section.... if you have any other questions feel free to ask..... I was also told it can move as your uterus stretches, however mine didnt

the Dr told me that I will have to have a c section because my plecenta is on my cervix and if I go into preterm labor I will deliver the placenta first and I could bleed to death and my daughter could die also @darneatheab

I'm going through the same thing but you might wanna get a second opinion on it. I'm going to be doing that too
