I hate my job. The manager I work for us so unorganized and doesn't care about anything. He doesn't respond to me when I try to talk to him. He just does not care. I told my fiancé I want to quit. He told me to do what will make me happy. Of course I will have to find a new job in the mean time. Maybe I should put my two weeks in. Find a job and then leave.

@lilfree16, is right. New job found first. When the 2wks is given the boss can end your employment immediately.

I think you should start looking for a job now before putting your two weeks in. just tell your new job you'll have to give your two weeks notice. but you can also work around your new schedule. if your current boss doesn't like it tell him owell. you can either leave then or do the full 2 weeks. it really doesn't hurt you in the long run.
