Ladies,
Today is my due date, I also have a doctors appointment today as well. After how long do doctors usually wait to induce. My baby girl is fully cooked and I'm hoping we can set up to be induced like now?! I'm a first time mom so I don't know how things work.
Please help! My doctor is trying to induce me before 40 weeks because she's going to be off on my due date and says my placenta is starting to look old. How do I get labor started?? I don't want to be induced for no reason and I'm thinking I won't have a choice. Please help. What do I do to get things going?
My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her own when she is ready to come ! As much as I am anxious to meet her and have her home with me, those last few weeks of brain development and lung maturation means so much more to me! I'm hoping and praying that things turn around, and I don't have to get induced. I'm surely going to talk to my doctor about it Thursday when I go back.
At my doctors appointment and they told me they want to induce me TODAY...So now I'm freaking out how do I not freak out
just a question for the moms, how many of you were induced? and it being a successful labor, or did you end up with a c-section?? I'm just curious. my doctor let me choose to be induced on my baby boys due date, or wait.. and I chose to be induced!!

Sooner the better. Don't wait more then 2 to 3 days after ur due date to have ur baby.

@leda.patterson32115, so should my doctor today ask me what I want to do?! cause I'm so ready to have this baby and I'm just afraid my doctor will make me wait til I'm over a week or more past due and that would be horrible!

Talk to ur doctor. Ask him or her to set a date and tell her u don't want to wait more the. Two or three days. It can be bad for a baby to have her or him inside u longer then it suppose to. It can kill the baby. So talk to ur doctor
