No problem @elliee :). I'm almost 40 and my first husband was a pretty selfish guy too. Unfortunately it took me 8 years to figure out how to just leave. 😂😂😂

And @elliee if you're not comfortable, you need to leave until he takes care of himself. If you stay, why should he even bother? Hang with your mom, keep yourself healthy. Otherwise if you stay, you'll wind up resenting the shit out of him anyway for not caring enough about you to take care of business.

I worked in a residential home when I was pregnant and one of the residents had it and others got it and they wanted us all to apply this toxic chemical to our bodies but I never did because I was afraid it would hurt my baby. Luckily I didn't get it but just knowing I was working around it made me itch.

My SO has it horribly all over his body & I started to get bumps on my hands & fingers which I knew I caught it because how intense the itching is .. Friday was the second week we applied the cream (Doc told us apply it and reapply 7 days after) the itching has almost completely stopped for me but hes getting bigger rashes on him & we sleep in the same bed & he doesnt realize him scratching will affect me too .. Idk about you but I get crazy when I see any type of bug now knowing that I have mites living in mine & his skin is stressing me to the max !! Im telling him to go to the hospital because they will quarantine him but that will affect his job but I cant deal living with this !! I want to go to my moms house until he is cleared up but when I mention it he gets emotional .. We're both young but im not young minded whatsoever but I feel he thinks hes living in a fantasy world where it'll just magically go away! Its to the point where I wont even let him touch me hug me I wont even sleep on a pillow if he touches it .. I dont want to make him feel bad but he has to understand I care about my health ! His mother's friend died from scabies by not taking care of it and you would think he would get a wake up call ! Granted, his doctors told him it was eczema at first & then figured it was scabies gave him the wrong cream that he said would work meanwhile its only for itching it does not kill the mites but we didnt know ! He finally went to a dermatologist and gave both of us the right cream .. It just seems to not be working for him but now I am gonna get it back !! Ughhh .. I got them when I was In the hospital after having my c section and they are living hell. I went to the er and they brushed it off saying it was an allergic reaction to something but the second I got into my Drs he looked at it and instantly knew what it was I was put on a body wash, a cream and medicine. The cream had to be on over night while I slept so my fiancé had to get up with baby because I was not allowed to touch her with the cream on. My whole body was covered in the tiny bumps, even after the bumps went away I itches for months ( it's nicknamed the 7 year itch) I no longer itch or anything but I was miserable for a long time.
