so I know by the end of pregnancy you get poked and messed with so much you don't even care but how can I not feel uncomfortable with a male dr? was anybody else nervous about a male Dr down there?

I have a male. I just feel better about him. he's nicer and more gentle. and he's probably seen so much vaginas and weird stuff that mines like a cake walk lol

I have always had a male doctor when I was growing up and my mom always talked about how she liked her male ob then the ladies, and if I wanted to I could go to that same doctor that delivered me but I decided to find another one and I really liked my sisters that she had but he wasn't accepting any patients so I got put with the only doctor that was and it ended up being a male and really like how nice and gentle he is with me. I'm now on the second pregnancy with him and even moved to a hospital that is even farther just so he can be my ob plus he gets along he great my husband which is a plus

I have a male dr and he makes me feel just as comfortable as anything but I've had male Drs look down there from the start so to me I guess it's weird for me if I were to change to a female dr.

I have a female I think she doesn't really talk as though I should know everything. Wish I would have gotten a male just because they seem more gentle and actually answer questions.

I had a female Dr. I didn't want any guy down there at all but I also had an all natural birth so with all that pain I didn't care if a cow was in the room lol. after having my son I don't think the gender of the Dr would matter to me.

Ive been told they're more gentile since they obviously haven't been in our shoes but I just feel like it'll be weird or uncomfortable. my Dr I have now I have only been to once but he is very nice. I guess its just cause im young lol I'll get over it
