Anyone else expecting twins? / any twin moms out there? <--if so, what week did you deliver? I'm 34 weeks tomorrow and getting anxious from all of the anticipation!
@emmym2, yep this is the third pregnancy that i have had considered high risk... first hospital/baby i was monitored and poked and prodded and generally annoyed to bits from alllll the appointments lmao little did i know id miss that place... they shut down so second pregnancy i attempted to go to a new nearby hospital they sent me somewhere bigger and after everything i had practically no prenatal care and my hospital stay was horrid this time i tried a 3rd hospital the high risk place and they want me to go back to the awful place so tommorrow im calling yet another because i wont go back there
@baby6aryn, I have to say, after being pregnant (especially with twins) I have a new found respect for pregnant women! Lol I'm glad all 4 of yours were healthy and able to come home with you :) that's all I'm praying for!
Yes! Lol... And i was so ready to delivered them to. I pushed both out. First set baby b was breech. But they were 4'7 and 5'7. At 31 weeks. My daughter had Abnea and bradycardia but that was fine she came home on a machine for about three months. Her brother was fine. And the second set at 33 weeks were 4'13 and 5'11. No issues came right home with me. But both pregnancies gave me hell. Lol
I was 31 and 33 weeks when I delivered my twins.
@havokan, I've been a crazy, nervous lady pretty much through my entire pregnancy (I must admit, a little more nervous now that I'm soo close!) but, I try not to consume myself with anxiety... Things will go as they are meant to, and my doctor told me even though I am healthy and my babies are healthy... I'm considered high risk just because they are twins. The silver lining with being HR is that they monitor you throughout your pregnancy a lot closer than singleton pregnancies, so they are more aware of whats going on and how the babies are developing in there. That has always made me feel better! I'm sorry the multiples doctor won't see you... That makes absolutely no sense!! You should look into hospitals that specialize in twins+, my hospital is a little further than I would like, but have a great twins program!
i am excited but scared! holy smokes very scared... i am considered high risk myself so much so that multiple doctors refuse to see me even the high risk ob....
Yeah lol I think they did hers so early because she has cerebral palsy so it wasn't safe for her to go full term @emmym2
@double_mommy, try not to be nervous.... I'm "high risk" too, I'm pretty sure they consider all multiple pregnancies high risk since there is more than 1 baby. Plus side of that, you get ultrasounds every month instead of just 2 over the course of your entire pregnancy 😊👍🏻 @maciecakes I am also a scheduled c-section, although my hospital won't schedule one until the 38th week... So chances are, I will go into labor anyway and have to go in for an unplanned csection!! I'm kind of nervous... Baby A is head down so they said I can have her vaginally, but since her sister is breech, there's a chance she won't turn and I'll have to have a csection with her... I figured I would rather heal in one place (tummy) than both! Lol
My god daughters are twins and came at 36 weeks. First twin was born vaginally and the secondsecond emergency c - section but she was already back in the OR. They were 4 lbs 1 oz and 4 lbs 2 oz
I'm not a twin mom but my older sister had hers at about 35 weeks. She was extremely high risk though and it was through scheduled c section.
