I've been breastfeeding for a year this coming monday, who else has breastfed for this long, when did you stop or plan on stopping? I'm waiting for him to wean off on his own.

lol I was hoping he would grow out of it, I guess he won't haha. Hopefully they aren't they may actually be really excited to be big brothers. you never know and congrats on baby number three @39surp !
Oh yes! Both of my boys are like that and they are 2 and 4! I'm like I hope they won't be jealous of this baby😁❤️
it sure is, he's such a mama's boy and now that he's going through separation anxiety I can't go anywhere lol @39surp
I heard it's good until they are three years old. when he wants to stop then I'll stop but the cut off is three in a half. but definitely before he's four @39surp
Thank you@kantoine I did that long with both of my sons. I admit with my first son it was so hard. I was so exhausted. I cried at times and almost gave up. But after a few months I got used to it and it got easier and easier. Then when I had my second son it was easy. I wouldn't have it any other way. I got a lot of crap from friends and family for bf that long but I didn't care I did what I felt was best.

exactly @aboutellesbabe , I don't care I they tell me to stop. it's up to him at the end of the day.
I am planning on breastfeeding for a year and then weening him off from there :) don't let anyone tell you that you are breastfeeding for too long. People are annoying haha you just keep doing what feels right to you! Thy can benefit from breastfeeding for a long time!
