22 weeks and I feel huge. My doctor wants me to think about a c-section because my son is getting so big. is there anything I can do to prevent this? or advice from anyone who has ever had one before?

Definitely get a second opinion. I am currently 33 weeks pregnant with my son measuring 35.5 weeks gestation and he's been measuring 2 in a half weeks ahead basically my whole pregnancy and my doctor has not scheduled or even mentioned a c section she never even changed my due date! the most you might have to do is get induced but as long as the baby is head down, you shouldn't need a c section :)

if you need onr, don't fret. I had one with my son even though I took every precaution. even going as far as going to midwives who I thought would refuse. I have to have a repeat this time around and it's actually a relief. you KNOW when the baby is coming, so there's not stress about "is today the day"

Definitely do your research and know that it is your choice. Having a big baby is no reason to have a c section and it's way too early for them to even be considering it in my opinion. Ultrasound weight predictions are 15-20% off--meaning what they think is a 9 lb baby could in reality be 7.5lbs which was the case for my sil.
