When getting your due date did your doctors go off your last period or the ultrasound? I ask because I know my exact time I had my last period ( because we were trying to conceive) so me and my doctor went off of that BUT Friday at my ultrasound it said I was 11 weeks 5 days .... Which by the calculations I was 12 weeks and 3 days? Should everything be switched now? Should my due date change? I'm so confused. Any help mommies ?

they went off of my last period and they got September 27th. Then when I went for my first ultrasound, they said that my due date is September 20th. So I'm not sure which one is more accurate.
Yes I was way further than I according to my lmp I was supposed to be 8 weeks pregnant but when my ultrasound was done I turned out to be 12 weeks pregnant
that's what happened to me but my doctor left it the same since it was only 3 days difference.
most doctors will go off of the ultrasound, but if it isn't that far off they won't change it, since a due date can be off by 2 weeks anyways. so if she didn't say it changed, then go off of the other. I've always measured ahead and they don't change it unless its a big difference usually.
My doctor went off my ultrasound because my son measured to be farther alone than I expected.
I had that happen to me. From my LMP I was 12 weeks and by ultrasound I was measuring 11 weeks 5days my Dr went off my LMP to determine my due date.
according to my lmp, I was due 02/16 but the ultrasound said he was bigger and due 02/11... either way he isn't born yet
I knew around (2 or 3 days) that I got pregnant so we went off my LMP. Ultrasounds are usually off a little so I would go with what you know.
My doctor told me as long as my LMP and ultrasound were no more than 5 days apart in measurement it would not change my due date.
That's what I thought but when I ask the doctor she said nothing changed which confused me because she was hesitant that what made me look and see what the computer said.
the doctors will let you know if your due date changes. they usually go off of your last period but the ultrasound is more accurate.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
