FTM with a question so on the same date every month is when you are another month cause tomorrow I will be 18 weeks…

@mommagotbump16, I understand that I was just wondering if you make a month on same day every month or like if my 5th month starts tomorrow 18 weeks which is what chart say that's all. yes it does

Lol no I was saying you *aren't* pregnant for 10 months at term-still only 9. That chart says 18-21 wks is the 5th month-that means you haven't completed the 5th month until you get to 22 weeks. Does that make more sense? @gradybaby01

@jessmeyer716, my lil sister want me to have baby on 9th her bday and husband want me to hold it in until 20th his birthday so we will see

@mommagotbump16, thank you that's what I really wanted to know but you know technically you really carry 10 months full term that's y I was really asking and you are right cause my third month was 5 weeks but the chart and book I have I would be consider 5 months tomorrow so confusing but it don't matter as long as I have a healthy baby

4 weeks doesn't equal a month, because all months but one have at least 30 days in them. That's why counting by weeks and months gets confusing.

@gradybaby01, that would put you being 10 months when you gave birth. No they go by weeks for the anatomy scan-idk why they said that was 5 months. Yes each 17th you can count another month.

Hopefully you have your baby the 16th, that is my birthday :) Its confusing the way Drs track our months and weeks, because technically 40 weeks is 10 months not 9, so you think every 4 weeks is a month, that's why at 36 weeks you are considered 9 months pregnant already but still not full term. I go by a chart like the one above. hope that helps :)

well I will call and ask my dr cause the way I counted I will be 5 tomorrow cause I turn 4 on January 17th and if you count from there tomorrow will be 5 months but thank you anyway I will just keep going by weeks to keep confusion down thanks anyway

Your 4 months & a half tomorrow. You'll be 5 month in another 2 week! All you have to do is count even weeks as mouth!

Not really it goes by how much week. At the beginning of your fourth week your another month pregnant!

I go by weeks but I was just really wondering so tomorrow I will be 5 months moving on up

not necessarily :) if you divide your number by 4 you'll get the month so much easier just to go by weeks lol very confusing

Everyone is different I go by this

with my dr at 18weeks you are 5 months cause you have to be 5 months to find out gender and anatomy scan

20 weeks you'll be 5 months
