You can freeze it? for how long? How do you thaw it?

@alayahmommy, it's very time consuming I agree. @first516 of course. It's good for 6 months in a refrigerator freezer and 1 year in a deep freezer. Haven't used or thawed any just yet. Storing for when I return to work. But to thaw you placed under hot running water and it has to be used within 24 hours.

@first516, actually you just can leave the milk out to defrost naturally. Running it under hot water can damage it. Idk how true it is, just what I read. For some reason it defrosts super quick too.

I'm so jealous of your milk supply. My little guy gets what he needs for sure but when I pump I only get an ounce out. It takes me forever to fill a freezer bag lol

you need to start laying them flat to freeze!

put them in soda boxes like this I have over 1000 ounces I'm planning on donating because my daughter don't drink bottle

@princessvictoria, how to do have so much milk stored with an EBF little one? I am so jealous! I can only get about 2 ounces at most when I pump in the middle of the night since my little guy sleeps through

@princessvictoria, that's very creative and when frozen flat creates more space. Im just over 300 oz and he's 6 weeks. I have to go back to work so he would have no choice but to use the bottle with breast milk. But for now would continue ebf.

@nurseriri yes alot of room u save u can put the milk to freeze in the same box ur using or put a cardboard or something flat to put the milk on it i stopped pumping because I didn't have anymore room I'm more full in the morning and that's when I get the most. I used to only pump 2 times a day in the morning and before bed

I pump before bed and get about 1 ounce total and that's about 2 hours after his last feeding. I want to pump in the morning but I'm worried there won't be enough when he wakes up and it'll be a battle to catch up all day 😁

The only thing is we don't drink soda to get those boxes but would try and be creative. I pump pretty often because my breast gets full so quickly and as much as I try to ignore it I can't because it starts being uncomfortable and painful @princessvictoria
