my baby shower was fun! not everyone came but I didn't expect them to so I didn't really get that disappointed. My best friend, husband, brother in law and his wife, MIL, grandmother in law, and sister in law all came and those are the people who matter the most so I'm happy :)

Does anyone like their in laws? With all the posts about terrible in laws I was just wondering if anyone actually likes their in laws?!?! I love me in laws. I'm blessed to have such a wonderful immediate and extended family. My mil loves spending time with my boys. She comes over at least once a week and will sleep over. She gets up with the boys in the morning and let's my husband and I sleep in. My fil is a great man also. He's always coming over to visit and do some odd jobs around the house (my husband is not handy at all lol). So anyone else have great in laws?? I figured I'd ask so we can talk positively about our in laws!!!
I had my little guy at 4:01 PM today. I got an epidural during hour 2 or 3. I was in labor for 9 and a half hours. Epidural lasted until the last 30-45 minutes, so they put a higher dose in and I didn't know I was 10CM I only felt the pressure in my bottom but I was so gassy and I thought it was gas pains. Nope. Went from 3CM to 10CM in less than 2 hours. I didn't tear but they did cut me. I literally didn't feel anything. But he looks like his mommy. He came on his due date

that's great... I'm afraid I won't have the turnout I'm hoping for...but as long as my immediate family is there I'll be happy too!

yeah and we got three things we desperately needed and a bunch of cute clothes so it's all good :)
