What was your baby's heart rate at about 10 weeks and what are you having?? Baby has a heart rate of 167 and I don't know what I'm having yet.

What are you having? Boy or girl? What is baby's heart rate? I have no idea this go around. I have 2 boys already. Heart rates we're 146 and 152. This one is 170. I'm curious to see how true the old wives tale may be. :)
Is the old wives tale that boys have a higher heart rate? What was your son and daughter heart rate?

Everyone swore it was a girl just by the heart rate being so high. I don't think it really has much play in gender.

@norcalmomma, I just looked at the gender prediction based off heart rate and it said girl... I then get on here and you say you're having a boy 😢😢

My doctor told me you can't tell baby's gender by its heart rate.

Lol! I'm sorry!!! Everyone had us so convinced we were having a girl we had a girls name picked out and everything. We were a little bummed when we found out it was a boy just because we were so dead set it had to be a girl. I hope you have a girl! Maybe it is!!! 50/50 either way!

at 12 weeks my boys heart rate was 160. I will say, I asked my OB and she said early on the heartbeat is always really high, and it slows during pregnancy. at 19 weeks his heart rate was 130-140 and at 23 weeks it was about 135. so maybe the heart rate is more telling later on.
