Is the old wives tale that boys have a higher heart rate? What was your son and daughter heart rate?

First pregnancy and it's a boy.. His heart rate has been anywhere from 147-165

yeah and I run the risk of twins every time cuz I release 2 eggs lol! but dunno if I'll ever get the chance cuz I'm about to be 30 n single lol

@twinmamma2015, I still have hope for boy/girl twins. It does mean u can try again, but I don't want toooo. Lol. Both heart rates were about 170ish, but not sure of recently.

This baby's started at 174 and is now 135 at 28 weeks so I don't think it's true. I read research that stated the heart rate is determined by how active the baby is. My husband and I are both in the medical field so research took over our house since our first son is 7 years old.

yeah I had them in August they said one time sounded like 2 girls, but they were both boys lol! I kinda wanted boy/girl twins but I'm happy with 2 boys! just means I'll have to try later on for a girl (or 2 haha)

@twinmamma2015, aren't U having twin boys?! Our dr guessed that our babies looked liked boys. I'm kinda sad because I wanted a girl. Lol

My boy stays around 140

my sons is 176

My boys was high at first at 160+ and now low at 140-150. So I don't think it's true lol!

I don't think it's true my boys started out in the 180s, they told me the baby's heart rates depend on momma.

I heard girls have a higher heartbeat... who knows lol
