How to Choose the Right Puppy for Baby Willis?

how cute, but id get the puppy now so you have time to train him or her. otherwise trying to train a puppy and having a newborn will be like hell. not to mention you might not be able to train the puppy like you'll want to because you'll be too busy with the baby.

Maybe it would be better to get an older dog. Just a suggestion. Older dogs you don't have to train as much (hopefully ) and would be less stress on you when baby comes. That way you aren't dealing with two kids. That's just my thought process, good luck in finding your next fur baby!

@shawtypop, I know that why I said my hubby and I decided to start off with a puppy but we're not getting a pitbull as we're still getting over penny death plus hubby would want a blue nose so it's worth to wait on that and start over with another breed with training before the baby is born :)

@morninglight, hubby and I talked about that but because of penny death we aren't sure as she was a year old at the time. We find it cute to have a puppy and our baby grow up together and be best friend :)

@deafmama16, I can understand that. I grew up with my cat. She's still here with me, 18 years old and deaf. I couldn't love her more.

I know how it is. I had a German Shepard that died of old age. I really wish she would met my little rose but I know she looking down on us. Your penny is looking down on you smiling.

wait a minute so some adult killed dog simply because they couldn't have it?

@gabbator95, yup they were a group of drug dealers who had a aggressive white adult pit bull and wanted penny when she took off on her running adventures. They tried to get my hubby and I too breed her with their dog but we refused as we knew they used their pit for dog fighting. Penny was beautiful and mixed with a razor edge gotti along with another breed I can't remember. There was other people that wanted our dog. I don't know if they send two of their kids to steal our dog while she was outside chilling but I was indoor when I heard her barking like crazy and I saw them kids in front of my house talking so I checked on penny she was fine at the time but we were too late to realize she was given something before she gotten badly sick. Called every vets and they wouldn't do a thing and cased it as she had parvo but she gotten her shots for it and one of our family members told us she was either given motor oil or other form of poison when we told him her symptoms and she pooped blood that smelled so foul it woke me up that night and she passed the next day. It was no way parvo. She lasted almost two weeks since she gotten worse.....all we could do was make her comfortable outside and keep her hydrated as she refused to eat and drink because she puke it up.... Still to this day it hurts I mean I refuse to throw her cross away that I made for her.

I'm sorry that you have to deal with those kind of assholes in your neighborhood. nobody should have to worry about their dog getting killed by f****** dick heads like them

@gabbator95, we couldn't as we didn't have no proofs so we left it to God. I'm sorry too but at least she not suffering anymore :) thank you
