So I did it!! I managed to go all the way to 7 cm with only one dose of pain meds to get the epidural to be safe and make it all the way to 9 1/2 cm to end up having a c section due to the cord wrapping around her and her heart rate dropping every time I contracted. Well after an emotion and some what painful c section I had a beautiful baby girl Claire May Sharp weighting 7lb 12oz measuring at 21 inches. Trying to get the hang of breast feeding for the first time doing well so far.
oh wow that is amazing you did that, I would be so freaked out if I were you
@lilbabyboy16, i was wake the whole time. I got to see my husband hold her first and take her to the nursery. My epidural wasn't set up very well, if I leaned a certain way I could feel everything on my right side so they had to dump pain killers in my IV the whole time they were cleaning me and closing me up but I actually haven't gotten sleep yet but that's because my body is picky on how I sleep and where plus being a new time mother and breast feeding they come in and out so I can't sleep even if I could/wanted to but it's all worth it in the end. 😊😊😊😍😍😍
congrats!!!! =)). I was just wondering how long you were knocked out for for the c section? my hubby said people are out for 2 weeks...
lol It's not that bad. I stayed at home for an hour with my water broken because I was watching a movie and didn't want to wake everyone up at 3:30 am.
