So. I'm feeling really down right now. I had a cocker spaniel named Sassy. She was my best friend, I got her when she was a tiny puppy. Her breeders threw her out because she needed a hernia surgery and they didn't want to deal with it. I got her when I was around 7-8. She passed away July 20, 2014. I was so destroyed I was literally throwing up when I found her.. I'm still heartbroken. There will never be words to express how much she meant to me and how important she was in my life.
I've casually started looking for another american cocker spaniel puppy. It's killing me because none of the shelters around have any cocker spaniels, let alone female puppies. I've found ONE breeder in western ky but they want $700 for a puppy. I completely understand that they're worth that. but it's hard because I can't afford that and I don't work so I'm just stuck and can't get one. I know this seems really stupid but it's just breaking my heart even further. I just miss my girl ♡ )':
First of all, I'm so sorry for your loss, losing a pet is losing part of your heart, and it's awful. Now, I just want to remind you that you can't replace your old dog. I feel like you're expecting to get the same dog again, and it's just not possible :-( it might be better if you branch out, rescue a sweet dog from a shelter who really needs a home and will love you so much for saving their life. That way you won't expect the same dog, but you will still get a great dog and save a life.

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know
the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
So ladies I don't know if you remember on here there was a girl who lost her little boy called archer who died from SIDS?? I just found her on Instagram to discover it wasn't her child it was in fact her nephew?????? I've looked for her on here but she seems to delete her page I don't know if it's because anyone else found out she was lying but I'm literally GOBSMACKED as she wrote a blog and everything about it? Please tell me I wasn't the only deceived by this??
So it's hard for me because my 16 year old past the test when she was in third grade and my niece passed it last year and now all my daughter's friends will be going to the third grade and she will be repeating and I don't want to send her back to the same school to be bullied because she has to repeat a grade and so I'm looking into other schools but see the thing is you teach her something she gets it then you go back to it and she like I don't know it so frustrating and she likes to wonder of...
Will your Mom be in the delivery room?
My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️
@maybabyboy, Thank you. I completely understand your concern, I had that concern with myself at first but I have had a dog since then, and my boyfriends dog. But his dog was hit by a car (we don't live near the road but he ran away) and I gave mine to a family that lost theirs because I realized I wasn't emotionally ready for another dog. But now I feel like I am.
I know I won't ever have another dog like her and that saddens me but I also know that whatever dog I do get will fill the void in my heart in different ways than she did.
I just really have my heart set on another spaniel, but I have been keeping an eye on shelters.
The main thing is that no matter what I end up with, I need to start out with a puppy with my son.
