I have a question... My daughter pediatrician came and checked her once she was born && said the thing under your tongue that connects to hers is connected and in order for her to latch on my nipple, pacifier, and bottle they'll have to cut it... Have any of you moms has to experience that and what was the outcome IF you followed through with the surgery
my best friends son was born tongue tied and she didn't know it until he was around three he had to have surgery bc u couldn't understand a word he was saying so they cuts it cut and he still had to have speech therapy I would think the sooner the better on getting it done but that's just my opinion
@quatriceladez, okay well it's up to you as mama, my mother wanted me to do it but my bf and I were not okay with the surgery plus his Doctor told us it's to much stress for a tiny baby. Do whatever you feel is best for your child (:
Like I noticed when she cry she can't really move her tongue, uhmm she latches on pretty well bottle, pacifier, and nipple I just don't want her growing up "tongue tied" as they call it... @isatorres26
@quatriceladez, how bad is it ? my son was born like tht but he was able to latch on great his pediatrician said not to cut it and my son is now almost 3 and he speaks pretty well the only time we have troubke is with Spanish ans certin letters in English but we are trying to have him move it around to loosen it up. you should try to lach the baby on and see if it works before anything.
So it's quicker to get done at an early age rather than waiting
My cousin had to have that done as a newborn. He didn't until he was three and he had problems with speach, and latching on to even a bottle. My aunt had the surgery done with her second and she has no speach problems and was able to breastfeed
Both of my sisters boys were tongue tied. She got both of theirs cut.

I need to ask someone this have you literally regret having a child with someone. I love my daughter with all my heart but I really regret ever being with her dad.

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️
