Yes they should give you a breast pump. And your insurance one or the other can and should if asked for. Both my sisters got there breast pump from WIC and there insurance... Maybe every body system is different in different places but it's a known fact that they should give you a breast bump even if baby is or isn't latching on.
Yes they do!!! When your baby is first born they will give you a hand pump then when they turn 1 month you will get the double electric. Here they have the double medela pump in style and the Ameda pump.
It depends on where you are located. You just need to talk to your local WIC office and see what they offer a breastfeeding mom, usually they have loaners after so many months of breastfeeding effeciently, medicaid usually will only provide a pump if the mother is under the age of 18, and the hospital isn't obligated to give a breast pump, it's technically mothers responsibility to provide.
but I would still call and check with them..... most insurance will cover one to keep so call them too
yes, but only after baby is a month old, at least where I am, and it's just on loan you have to give it back
no the hospital sometimes will provide the pump or ur insurance will give u one other then that u will have to buy one
Only if baby has a hard time latching on but other than tjat they wont
