VENT: So my 7 week old just gave me a scare of a lifetime. He just spit up like a waterfall in his carseat on my way home. It was so bad I had to pull over & let my boyfriend drive while I tend to him. The front of his shirt was soled, but after he was done he continued to sleep like a baby (as he's doing now with clean clothes on). He don't seem to be acting different, that moment just scared the hell out of me. Am I feeding him to much or do I possibly need to change his milk? I am a FTM & I am going to be really nervous about sleeping tonight & me & my boyfriend have to work in the morning... Advice please.

Is he laying flat? Being upright may help if he's choking.

@queeneden i wish that was the case but we are à home now & he is sound asleep, but only moments ago he woke up or stayed sleep & gag to spit up some more. It was a lot at all, but it makes me nervous because he looks like he's choking.

Sounds like the car ride just made his milk come up. If it doesn't keep happening all the time, I wouldn't worry. Baby's spit up a lot, but if he isn't in pain or losing weight, he's usually fine. You can always ask a doctor though.
