Short Luteal Phase?

I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

I need some advice. Me and my fiancé are currently trying to become pregnant and haven't had success is there anything you guys have tried to get pregnant? Also I was on the depo shot for 3& a half years I've been off it for a year and a half now and never got my period back. But a couple weeks ago I had some spotting with blood. I need some advice! I just had my son a little over a month ago and I want to wait 5-10 years to have another baby. Is a age gap a bad thing?

Need some reassurance. TMI sorry in advance. I stopped bleeding about ten days ago when my baby was 5 and a half weeks. Husband and I have been having unprotected sex using withdrawal method since about 4 weeks PP, and I'm exclusively breastfeeding.
