at about 16-18 weeks your uterus will START to pop out of the top of your pelvis....and with your first it can take longer, your dr will show you exactly where the top of your uterus is when you see them.

when does the baby actually start moving up?

i felt it more when i was at least 20 weeks i felt flutters at around 18 weeks

oh... my stomach has been somewhat hard.

@ftm2be, unfortunately the way you look has nothing to do with movement....sorry but especially with your first it usually is bloat (none of that is actually a baby)

well ive been wondering cause im only 12 weeks and a day

@ftm2be, it all depends, with my first around 18 or 19 weeks I felt real movement before that I felt slight flutters at around 16 weeks but that could have been gas... weight, placement of the placenta, there are a lot of factors that come into play.... some people don't get to feel movement until 20-23 weeks or even hardly at all the whole time.

Everyone is different but I started to feel something odd around 4 months and then really started to kick and move a bit after.
