You could end up sitting in a trial that could last past your due date. I could see if it was earlier in pregnancy but a week before you're due... They would have to find a replacement if it was still going when you went into labor so why not just get someone else from the get go.
I asked the receptionist/nurse at my drs office and she said pregnancy wasn't a medical condition, that I still had to go. smh I should've just asked my Dr directly..

just tell the court your pregnant. your nurse/ doc isn't an attorney or judge. that's not their area of study.

you may not have to. since its so close to your due date. it could cause you to be over emotional or stressed.

I believe if you say you are pregnant they will let you postpone it for another time. both times they called me i was pregnant and didn't have to go.
