How much weight are you supposed to gain throughout your pregnancy? I'm only 4"11 and I weighed around 118 lbs before getting pregnant.. I'm now 134 lbs.. So I've gained 16 lbs during the past 37 weeks and 4 days.. My son is in normal ranges for growth and weight.. At 33 weeks he was 5 lbs 1 oz and Doctor said he'd be 7-8lbs if I made it to 40 weeks. Everyone says I'm just all baby.. Is it normal not to gain much weight? I feel like I eat all the time and didn't have much of the dreaded "sickness". HELP! hahaha!!
Thank you @wiccanmommy @floress_j @mimiz @swtlilangl @marce88 !! They havent said anything about my weight and the doctor said he is "text book perfect". I was just curious :) All of my weight gain has been my belly.. my face, legs, arms, and everything are the same size.. I havent gotten a single stretch mark so far! This is my first one though.. My cousin didn't get them till her 2nd.. Crazy how our bodies are made to do this 😊 WE ARE SOME BLESSED LADIES!!
@ayeewhipxo, at 39 weeks my total weight gain is 18 lbs and baby is 7 of those lbs
I'm still down 5 lbs because I was sick for 20 weeks. Doctor says it's fine.
It depends on pre-pregnancy weight I was obese before I've only gained 6 and lost 5 again so I'm at a 1lb weight gain they aren't worried
25-30 lbs is a healthy weight gain. Well atleast for us girls who weighed little.
Everyone's different. I'm normally 116.. Size 0. I've gained 35 pounds and baby weighed 5.7 at my 32 week sonogram.
