Good morning, mamas! Going in for my 12 week appointment today in about an hour. Praying all is well with baby. Quick question: I know its usually later on, but do you think my doctor would be able to see if baby is a boy or girl today? I see some people have found out early and some had to wait.

Gender reveal or private ultrasound places won't do it until 15 weeks some will do it at 14 weeks. Your doctor, most won't do a scan until 18-22 weeks because they will measure the baby at the same time. People who find out at 11-12 weeks do a blood test.
I don't blame her but I told her I'm kind of hoping for a girl and she said well maybe you will get your wish... idk if she was hinting or if she was just saying maybe. I will find out next Thursday :)
Yeah. She said she told the parents that it was still to early to tell and they said if you had to guess and she said in my opinion it looks like a --- whatever she thought and when they came back to find out they found out that it was the opposite and threw a fit and she said I just guessed so no more will I even give hints or my thought or anything.
@joywzeiter2016, with the guessing thing tho if the doctors get the gender wrong and they have the baby and stuff the parents can sue the doctor

@chunkymonkey9115, Thanks! @joywzeiter2016 Im not sure with my doc. She's really nice and all, but I have a feeling she's going to be the same way. And maybe its good not to know today. My fiance won't be with me today because he has a second job interview at the same as my appt.
They possibly can if they turn the right way. I have an appointment for my 12 week check up at 10am. Let me know how it goes ;-)
I tried to get her to guess but she said no she guessed for someone before and was wrong and they threw a huge fit so now she won't even say what she thinks until at least 14weeks lol

I found out at 16 weeks I read it's hard for them to tell before a certain week bc they look them same
Normally they can't tell until about 14 weeks. I found out early from some blood test I had done!
I found out when i was 14 weeks but they usually don't do an ultrasound sound to find out the gender until 20. the only reason I found out at 14 is because i was bleeding
I had my 12w2d ultrasound last week and she said she wouldn't take a guess bc it was still to early. I go back at 14w2d for my gender sneak peek! ;)
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
