glucose test Thursday my Dr doesn't want me to fast... what are my better chances of passing? if I fast or don't?

just listen to doctor. no use in trying to bypass it because if you have it it's better to know

If you eat it may cause your sugar to be worse once you take the test. Most do want you to fast

Wt time is your apt ? Mines was at 8am so I was sleep for fasting just couldn't eat breakfast when I got up

I have never heard of someone being asked to fast in the state of Maine. They want an accurate reading and they can't get that unless you eat what you normally eat. Even if you did eat a bunch of sugar it won't affect the test. The test is based on sugar that's been in there for awhile. Eating will not do anything wrong to your results. It's better to try not to skip out on meals while pregnant. Your child still needs its nutrients.

No fasting according to my doctor

I didn't fast at all. I hate breakfast and everything. It's just to see how fast your body breaks down the sugar in the drink. I wouldn't fast I would eat

I have to take mine Thursday too and my doctor told me to eat healthy carbs no sugary cereals or anything like that

o dang well try no carbs and protein are freebies n water no juice or milk I have gestational diabetes n had to Take a class
