Do you guys think the dollar store or cheaper test are better than the expensive such as first response and clear blue ?

I did both and both read positive . I also used a cheap dollar store one with both of my other kids and tested positive . And early positive on top of it

My friend was telling me that she took a first response and clear blue and both were negative but when she took a dollar store one it was positive and indeed she was pregnant. Now I'm a week late and took first response yesterday and it was negative. Wondering if I should take a dollar store one.

I got the same results on all tests I took.

some tests are more sensitive than others. you can read on the box and find out the sensitivity. if you're testing early first response is the way to go, but if you've missed your period each test should work the same. http://contraception.about.com/od/contraceptionfailure/a/pregnancytests.htm

I took dollar ones with all my babies and they worked fine

Yeah I got the same results on dollar store and drug store brands. Instant positives on both. I've never had issues with the dollar tests but one of my drug store tests was invalid, it didn't work at all so I think they're both decent it's just what you want to spend.

My dollar test kept coming up negative. I took clear blue and they were both positive. Everyone is different though.

I think they're all the same! I havnt ever had different results negative or positive from a brand name than I have from the dollar general brand!
