I started off by pumping a half hour after every feed & storing it in the freezer before I went back to work. when I went back I would try to pump every 4 hours. At night when I fed my son I'd feed him off one side & pumped on the other & stored all those bags as well. before you know it you'll have so much milk you'll be able to take a break. it will take time though. also stay as hydrated as you can that really affects your supply. oh & feed on demand when you ars with your baby. did i answer your question?
so when you pumped a half hour after every feeding did you pump both breasts or? and for how long? and when you stored your milk would you put it in freezer even if you didn't fill the bag ?
yes pump both breast. sometimes you'll have to pump for 5 minutes or so before getting a let down. that's when the milk comes in. always pump 5 minutes after you have done producing milk completely. sometimes you can get a second letdown. now usually fill up a 6 oz bag so i put mine straight into the freezer but it's your call. i also have bags with 2 or 3 oz in there too so if i only need for one feeding my boyfriend doesn't have to defrost a whole bag when he only needs 3 oz to feed the baby.

i suggest freezer because that milk can last up to 5 months vs the milk in the fridge which only lasts 5 days.
