Ok so my baby's farther family is small , but my family is huge because of my mom and da side . Where should I stop as far as family relations when inviting people ????

if you havnt talked to them in a month don't invite them.. I have a large family and that's how I plan to figure out who to invite for my wedding.. unless there where significant in your life

just make it something with close family, and then later on I'm sure you'll have a baby shower and then the whole family could go to that.
