just curious.. I'm a first time mom. how much newborn clothes should I get compared to 0-3 months. newborn says only to 8.5 pounds... 0-3 months starts at 9 pounds...my fiance and I were both like 7.5 pound babies..help!!
I would get maybe a week or at most 2 weeks worth of cheap newborn onesies. because it's not worth the money. little loose clothing they can grow into Is way better
I didnt buy newborn with my first born and when I went to deliver her, the Dr said she was going to be a bigger 7 or even 8 lbs, she came out at 5lbs12oz. and I had NOTHING that didn't swallow her. I had to go out and buy newborn after I had her and she was in them for a good while. Every baby is different so it's so hard to tell! But I am stocked on newborn sizes this go around.
I never buy newborn. If they wear it at all its only for a couple of weeks. Not worth it.
My son was 8 lb 2oz, 7.5 lb when we left the hospital. He stayed in nb sizes for at least 4 wks! @hollymh We got a mixture of all sizes, then bought more once baby was here to see what he needed.
yep. he can wear the "onsie" (brand name) sweatpants in newborn bc they run big but any onsies, sleepers, shirts he couldn't wear
My son was 8.7lbs an he stayed in newborns for about 6 weeks so every baby is different you will just have to see how they fit just buy a couple newborns for now but they don't stay in them long unless they are small like 5 or 6 lbs I have about 20 newborn outfits but my friend gave them to me.
