Is going to a funeral could harm my baby ?

In my culture, it's not wise to go. I'm not sure why.

I hear it's bad luck to go. But I don't think it can actually hurt the baby. More superstition then anything else.

no,your baby will be fine. it is said that your baby feels your emotions (don't know how true that is) so just be aware and try not to let yourself get too upset.

Physically no it can't hurt your baby unless you let yourself get upset to the extent of throwing up or making yourself sick.

As far as it being bad luck or unwise, that's entirely up to what you believe and if you're superstitious or not.

@lakilucid, There are many people who would say that grieving can hurt an unborn child, so no its not just for laughs. I completely understand the poster asking this question.

& to the people who are attending the funeral, it's not just a ceremony. Your comment came across as extremely rude.. I lost my best friend when I was 20w pregnant, and a guy I used to be good friends with hung himself in November and I attended his funeral and it was far from being just a ceremony.

nope, stress is bad though so try not to stress as much about it. my gma died a month before I had my 3rd... it was awful
