My mother wants to have my baby shower on April 9. that's when I'll be 37 weeks. I feel like that's too close and doesn't give me enough time to set up or buy my last minute items. Does anyone else think I'm just stressing over nothing?

I had my last one at 35 weeks and wouldn't have wanted to do it any later because it wore me out and it's getting harder to do last minute shopping!
Im the same as @kaliyahsmommy and im freaking out i pray she stays in there till after . If I could I would make it sooner .
I had mine at the end of June and was due at the beginning of August and was still stressed out lol...
I think the average time is 32-37 weeks. but do what makes you happy. cuz it's your pregnancy. whether or not some people see it.
I had mine at 37 weeks last week and as much as it was a success I was pooped after from walking around to see everyone! But the next day I went out and bought what I needed which wasn't much since I had just about everything but the crib and a couple other smaller things. And I barely set up the crib today! Oops! Lol I think it just depends on what you have already and what you need. If you don't think it's enough time is speak up!
When I try to talk to her about moving it up she says it's fine where it is. And if baby comes early everyone can meet her at my shower. Sorry but she only invited if she's riding along in my belly. It's so frustrating.
I'm having mine at 36 weeks..will be turning 37 like the next day and I feel like its too close too...I understand
I'm gonna have mine April 24th, I was originally due May 1. now doctors are saying April 24th. it's a little stressful. but my boyfriend and I have our furniture and stuff to start setting up already and we bought him lots of clothes to put away.
