I read that somewhere too! that's why I haven't even took them 😞 @sadie19 I'd rather not even deal with more complications

@makaylanichole, I am not a doctor however my doctor told me not to take anything with progesterone when coming off the shot. the reason I was bleeding was because of my progesterone.

@sadie19, really? that sounds bad... I have several pregnancy symtoms but I just keep them out of my mind cause I know it's just this stupid shot 😳 they prescribed me a birth control pill that has estrogen and progesterone. That's all my insurance would cover, I haven't started taking them yet. I'm still bleeding pretty heavily 😧 this past week was suppose to be my fertile week and I bled every day.

@makaylanichole, mine wasn't birthcontrol it was old lady estrogen. the prescription was like $75 but I stopped bleeding in 3 days. my hormones were so bad my chest was swollen to double the normal size and they were damn near purple. :(

I have the birth control but it seems like it's thinning out my blood and making me heavier @sadie19 😢

have you gone to the dr? my Dr put me on estrogen to reverse the effects because I bleed for 9 months straight:-/

my last shot was in March of 2015, was suppose to go back in June and decided not to. now I'm constantly bleeding having a period literally every 2 weeks, and I'm not ovulating properly so my eggs aren't actually being released... @missalexisnicole @bsb0093 @bentleesmom0617 I also had a phantom pregnancy, and I got really depressed when I found I wasn't actually pregnant. ever since than its been a really hard pill to swallow, I work at Carters so I see babies every day. it's a constant reminder @sandracosgrove it's been nearly a year since I've had the drug in me, and my cycle is still messed up @nebanks1226 😧

I was on depo and it took me 8 months to get pregnant.

I had depo once and it sent me into a ghost pregnancy or at least that's what my dr called it. Other than that I got the shot once back September 2014 and it took me a few months to finally get a period back and then I got pregnant in June 2015. So it honestly effects women differently

I was on it for two years was amazing for me then I switched to the Mirena was on it for three months then took it out conceived three months after that
