FTM due July 1st I'm wondering which breast pumps people recommend. There are so many choices out there and I'm just clueless, and what accessories are good when it comes to breastfeeding?

thanks everyone! I might go with Medela. I also heard insurance companies cover pumps and supplies I just have to ask which brands they cover
I had an Ameda & personally, I had my doubts about it. even the hospital grade one. if I had it to do over again, I would have went with the medela symphony.
don't use a nipple shield unless you absolutely have to or have been instructed to do so. it can decrease your supply & it can be hard to get babes to nurse without them, once they have.
Get a nipple shield just in case and get a boppy so the baby isn't always wanting to be in your arms
I have a medela and it's ok. I've heard good things about the spectra s2 though
