**REPOST (no responses the first time)**

Please tell me someone else has gone through this... I have been having contractions that's are patterned and then goes away and I'm completely fine... First time they stuck around for 7 hours, second and third time 2 hours... They didn't hurt bad but they were stronger each time it happened. Now I'm feeling completely fine. Not tired and have energy. Have this happened to anyone and if so how soon did they come black and stay for real labor and delivery?????

Make sure you aren't dehydrated...that can make it worse...

@swtlilangl, okay thank you... I just didn't know if it was normal or was he really close or what... My midwife won't check my cervix until I'm 39 weeks so I will not know how far I have dilated for another 2 weeks @momofmany

I've been doing that for a week too usually a few hours really close every night. They are just preparing you for labor but until they are really painful or you are dilated to about a 4...until then we just have to deal with them and it sucks! I feel your pain...

I did that for a week with my second before I went into a good labor pattern. It is exhausting. Hopefully it won't be long for you.

I'm convinced I'm going to go into labour at any minute.....I'm having contraction but they're stopping and starting. Yesterday i was having contractions all morning then by the time I got to triage to be monitored they stopped. Now this morning I was sat having breakfast with my son and they started again. But more intense and longer lasting this time. My question is do I phone triage now or do I just wait to see what happens. I feel like I'm wasting their time always ringing etc
