I'm convinced I'm going to go into labour at any minute.....I'm having contraction but they're stopping and starting.…

@katerina156 Ah fair enough. Different people say different things don't they lol. Yeah I will get checked if I'm worried xx

@pearce5443, that’s what most people are saying and to be honest I don’t remember where they painful in my last pregnancy but this time I am getting them since week 20 and very painful. Tried to explain to my doctor and she said that’s Braxtons.

But one thing is if you are concerned don’t be thinking twice just get checked.

@katerina156 thank you. I'm not sure these are Braxton hicks as I was sure they aren't supposed to be painful x

Hey. Had a lot of Braxtons with my last pregnancy and warm shower always helped, when one day they didn’t stop after shower, I knew it’s the day.

@kkkkkkxoxoxox thank you hun, I just feel silly....I've had a baby before. I feel like I'm constantly on edge because of these on and off "contractions". I'm trying to rest as much as possible. Xxx

Just keep keeping an eye on it tho Hun just incase cuz u never know try putting your feet up alittle more I'm sure the baby will decide when they are definitely ready for sure and ull defo know then 🙂 xxx

I have no idea what's going on....they feel too intense/uncomfortable to be Braxton hicks. Who knows. I'm glad I didn't go to triage because I would have felt like I was wasting their time. Xxx

@pearce5443 then wud get checked out Hun just to be safe because I know my stomach tightened alot when I was in labour and my stomach was hard xxx

@kkkkkkxoxoxox it's not unbearable but makes me feel like I want to hold my breath and it is very uncomfortable if that makes sense xx

Tighting of your stomach is contractions Hun I had tightings with all mine Ur stomach feel hard and they cud be stopping and starting cuz your in slow labour like I was Hun that's why they are on and off I'd defo ring them if the pain is unbearable and make sure u tell um Ur stomaches tighting xxx

@vixster I have group b strep so already know that. I'm timing contractions atm. So will see what they show xx

@kkkkkkxoxoxox I just don't understand why they keep stopping and starting. Today is the worst they've been though. Like my whole stomach feels tight constantly atm and then when a contraction starts it's like a really low intense squeeze that radiates through to my back slowly increasing with pain and the dying down slowly. Xx

@pearce5443, the ones am getting are dull painful aching period pains in my stomach back & legs am constantly taking paracetamol hoping they help but they don’t xx

@tamla.sabrina my Braxton hicks were normally painless. But these are painful 😔.....I feel like they think I'm making it up lol xx

@pearce5443 hun I was induced with my other kids and when I was having contractions I didn't even know because they wasn't that strong they was sharp but it's like I had catch my breath ever second I had one I though they was Braxton Hicks until I went up the few days after to be induce at 37 weeks and they said I was already in slow labour I was glad I didn't go in labour at home my partner popped out one day n I had this sharp pain where I cudnt move all I did was sat still cuz I'd got my little boy an was scared of going into labour alone xx

Go jump in the bath I wasn’t sure if mine were the real thing. Thought I’d have a bath to see if help soothe the pain. It made them more intense and I had to call the midwife. X

@pearce5443, it’s very stressful love I’ve never experienced labour I’ve had Braxton hicks but not labour this all new to me xxx

@vixster she said there was no point yesterday as the contractions had stopped xx

Ring them!!! That's what they're there for, put your mind at rest xxx

I’d call them Ano exactly how you feel I’ve been like it since Saturday but I can’t get through to any of midwifes with the numbers i have been given! xx

Time them Hun see how far apart they are and how strong they are if you think your in labour it's best to get checked out hunni i keeped having on an off contractions with my youngest and I didn't even know I thought they was Braxton Hicks but they was turned out I was in slow labour Id ring and see what they say lets face it thats there job to give you advice so i wudnt worry about it good luck xx
