US soil yet *

the people who have it here in Florida traveled outside the country and got infected on vacation. @brittany7255 they did declare a state of emergency for the 4 county's that had cases but no one has been affected on is soil yet.

I'm quite concerned about it all, but hopefully it won't be an issue in the states.

Well that's good. I live in Louisiana so the mosquitoes are bad around here during the summer and half of my pregnancy is going to be during the summer. I just hope they can find something to do about it before then.

@brittany7255, I think only because they are so close to Southern Hemisphere and they have a lot of mosquitos. There have been no confirmed cases in the US yet

I just saw that floriado declared state of emergency because of it.

unless you've traveled over seas. intill I hear the mosquitoe is here I'm not too worried. but i might still spray down with bugsprau as a precaution
