Yup! I don't want anybody trying to give him a pacifier, formula, oooooh I'll be PISSED if they try and give my child formula lol. Yes. So daddy will keep tabs because he knows mama bear is crazy @tiffanigypsy8
@jennerfay not having the baby taken from you unless absolutely necessary, and if he does have to go, his dad being with him. i'm terrifyed of my baby being away from me for even a second in case they do something i don't want or whatever
@tiffanigypsy8, is what that comment was supposed to say 😒
I tried but she thinks because she works in the medical field she knows all lol she won't hear it. So I'll be talking to my doctor at my next appointment.
I am it's the best thing to do for u baby 🙂👌🏼💕👶👣💚
@maciecakes did you explain to her what it's for? i understand that our mothers and grandmothers probably think stuff like this is weird and unnecessary because we turned out fine, but i still make it a point to explain everything about a certain circumstance so at least if they don't agree they are enlightened about it. @jennerfay i think that is a beautiful choice, i'm considering doing that as well if possible
I will be doing that as well as the delayed bath. I won't be having our son taken from us until absolutely necessary. And if I can't go, his dad will be with him at all times for anything done outside of our room.
I was just talking to my mom about this. she thinks it's weird and pointless but I'll be doing it anyway
@hermommy it's so beneficial and it's not like there is any down side to it. i want to try delaying his first bath but i'm really weird about being clean 😕 and @snicole12 i agree, i've been taking all these baby classes my hospital signed me up for and it's crazy that i've already learned all of it, if not more on my own. and some women are sitting there clueless.
@tiffanigypsy8, Not many women do their research or know much , I definitely do my research and think every pregnant women should
@tiffanigypsy8, my doctor actually did it without asking which is great. we were connected for a good 5 minutes after she was born. and she didnt have her first real bath til the next day
exactly I think it should be a normal thing why cut it before the blood is finished flowing?! so stupid it builds their immune system and give them that blood back
@miri463, @hermommy, @snicole12 i haven't met many women who even know what it is! i don't see why it isn't normally performed in the first place if there isn't any sort of complications during birth.
I really wanted to delay cord clamping but it was wrapped around her neck so tightly that she couldn't come out anymore :(
