Mama on a budget here! Is it ok to just have a newborn/baby sleep in a pack and play? or would a bassinet be better? I really am on my own here. Cribs are so expensive!

I got a pack and play that has the the top part so that the baby is up higher when they are smaller I had the same thing for my daughter. I'm with you there cribs are expensive

Ok! Such a relief (: That gives me time to save up then. I am currently not working and I am back at home and have no savings or no car. Searching for a job in a small town sucks! Thank you ladies!

@newmama2016, some other countries use cardboard boxes to reduce SIDS deaths- you will be totally fine with a pack and play! :-) Babies really dont need all the things we think they need. Look at it as being minimalistic and environmentally conscious instead of broke. 😘
