I'm so confused.. I retested this morning to confirm.. but I got a negative.. Does anyone know why..?? 😞

I tested with first response yesterday and got the very faint positive.. I really hope I get a for sure positive next go around.. 😞 Thanks ladies..
@mrs.ford_mommy, wait another day and try again. those first response tests are very accurate. if you didn't have any hormones in your urine It wouldn't have given you a faint positive result. so maybe give it a day or so. if not. then I'd say it could have possibly been a chemical pregnancy but let's keep those fingers crossed and hope it's just bc you had a faulty test today. like I said. on pink dye tests if there was no hcg in your urine you would've had a negative result. you have some sort of hcg in you, that's why you got your faint positive (I saw the post of the test)
what kind of test did you use? blue dye? or pink dye. as well as. how late is your period?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
I had to take multiple tests and even went to the er to test and didn't get a positive test until Christmas
